HOW TO ENTER MARSHFIELD HORTICULTURAL SHOW

 

IN PERSON

At The Catherine Wheel, High Street, Marshfield - Wednesday 14th August between 3pm - 7pm

Entry cards will be issued at time of entering.

ONLINE

Via www.marshfieldvillageday.co.uk by 7pm on Wednesday 12th August 2026

Please make one transaction per person. If one person would like to enter several classes, they should be included in one transaction. For the next person, a new transaction should be started. 

For online entries, please print and take your booking confirmation and collect your entry cards from the Horticultural Show tent from 8am on show day.

NOTE: No entries can be taken after 14th August, no entries on the day.

• ALL EXHIBITS STAGED AT OWNERS’ RISK

• Exhibits may not be staged before 8am or after 10.30am

• All exhibits must bear a numbered entry card

• EXHIBITS MAY NOT BE REMOVED UNTIL AFTER THE PRESENTATION OF THE TROPHIES

• PLEASE DO NOT ENTER IF YOU CANNOT LEAVE YOUR EXHIBITS UNTIL AFTER THE PRESENTATION at approx. 4.30pm

• Classes 6 - 43, excluding Class 21 must have been grown by the Exhibitor

• Fruit and vegetables may be cut at the Judges discretion to determine freshness

• Prize money will be paid from 2pm and trophies will be presented at approximately 4.30 pm. The raffle will also be drawn at this time

• The Judge’s decision is final

• Exhibitors may enter more than one item in each Class - but may win only one prize per class, other than Highly Commended.

ENTRY FEE FOR HORTICULTURAL SHOW CLASSES: 50p per entry in person / 60p online

ENTRY FEE FOR DOG SHOW CLASSES: £3 per class

ADMISSION TO MARQUEE: Adults £1 Children 50p

PRIZE MONEY FOR SPONSORED CLASSES:  First - £5, Second - £3, Third - £2

​

POINTS:  First - 4 Points, Second - 3 Points, Third - 2 Points, Highly Commended - 1 Point
